Jadakiss and Styles P give surprise performance at Vegandale

Hip-hop lovers enjoyed more than good food at this years Chicago Vegandale fest. The popular event includes more than 150 vegan food vendors from all parts of the world. This year’s Chicago location was in Grant Park featuring Rick Ross as the headliner. However, fans also experienced a surprise performance from rap legends Jadakiss and Styles P during the Vegandale celebration. Neither Jadakiss or Styles P mentioned or promoted the fest which made their performance even more memorable.

Vegandale originally started in Toronto, as a way to highlight clean eating while encouraging a plant-based lifestyle. Since its start, the festival has sold over 100k and counting in tickets. The festival is also held in other cities such as Los Angelos, Miami, New York and Dallas. Although it only lasts for one day in each city, it’s one of the most exciting food festivals around.

In previous years no major headliners were featured which makes this year’s line up so remarkable. During their surprise performance Jadakiss and Styles P performed classic hits like “We Gonna Make It,” Knock Yourself Out,” and “Letter to B.I.G.” The pair are apart of the iconic rap group The Lox, which also includes rapper Sheek Louch who did not perform at the fest.
