A Transformative Masterclass Experience!

This masterclass was conducted to elevate students’ musicality and ignite their passion for creating enchanting melodies. Led by Joshua Chang, a professional vocalist, and pianist here in Singapore. This journey commences with a captivating exploration of the essence of musical expression. Joshua Chang, with his wealth of knowledge and profound musical insight, has guided the students that participated in this year’s masterclass. Not only he was able to enlighten us on the significance of emotion but also interpretation, and storytelling in music.

Here is Mishka, our vocal student who participated in the masterclass. It was such a joy to be able to see her shine even more after getting valuable insights from him. Hope you had good time during masterclass, Mishka!

Here is Jonathan, one of our piano students who is preparing for his upcoming Grade 3 ABRSM Piano exam. Definitely a good way to kickstart his practice journey since he just started learning 2 musical pieces not too long ago! The more insights students get at the initial stage, the better they will be over time! This session really provided him a personalized guidance and support to elevate his technical prowess.

And lastly, here is Arielle! She’s currently doing Grade 8 and is preparing for her upcoming ABRSM Piano exam. Super nervous for her but I think she got it! So thankful to be able to let her delve into the nuances of expressive performance, emphasizing the importance of dynamics, phrasing, and musical intent!

Massive thank you to Joshua for this immersive experience because this really goes beyond the realms of traditional music education. He delved into the depths of musical expression and refine their technical skills, which has been very informative and a truly unforgettable experience for the students.
