These guys can play no doubt about it. As soon as I started listening this powerful sound hit me straight like a punch in the face.

Bands like Green Day and Blink 182 came to my mind but there is also a nostalgic veil in the melody that made me think of Bad Religion.

The drummer pushes from the first to the last second followed like a shadow by the low. The guitars are solid and the vocal interpretation is perfect for the genre. The singer interprets the tune with the right intensity.

The production is spot-on and sounds utterly professional and the performance by all players is masterful.

Even the lyrics are profound and make us think that we live in a world where everyone wears a mask. Letting your instincts and your essence free is the final goal…but it’s difficult to expose yourself.

A band to keep under the radar as they produce top-quality music.

Intense!

Hailing from Sunny Florida, The Sons of James shine bright with their own blend of melodic skate punk. Focusing on personal struggles and tribulations, The Sons of James keep it positive with messages of growth and self worth.

‘The Real Me’ is the first release with new member Matt Shelley taking over vocals. The song explores the universal struggle of concealing one’s true self, offering undeniable lyrics that resonate deeply with listeners. Its explosive energy, driven by vibrant drums and solid rhythm guitars, creates a nostalgic skate punk vibe reminiscent of the late ’90s and early 2000s.
