Hey now, rip your heart out
I just want to taste it, spit it right out

[Favorite Song Lyrics: song “Be Careful What You Say” with perfect lyrics for karaoke]

[Chorus]

Hey now, rip your heart out
I just want to taste it, spit it right out
Talking to a goddess
I got power from all of my pain
So be careful what you say

[Verse 1]

I used to be stuck in my ways
And all of my demons, their names
Death grip tight on my neck
And there was someone holding my chains
Back down on my knees
Giving you more than you need
Drink it all down
This poison's gonna taste so much better than me

[Pre-Chorus]

The voices came to me

[Chorus]

Hey now, rip your heart out
I just want to taste it and spit it right out
Talking to a goddess
I've got power from all of my pain
So be careful what you say

[Verse 2]

Your words are hard to let go
My words have silent echoes
But they'll cut you by the neck, so
You should be scared every time you think about me

[Pre-Chorus]

The voices came to me
They whispered violently

[Chorus]

Hey now, rip your heart out
I just want to taste it and spit it right out
Talking to a goddess
I've got power from all of my pain
So be careful what you say

[Bridge]

[?]

angel on my tongue
I could make the devil come
Give him something he could never follow
I could make you want to run
Put a bullet in a gun
Guess I'm not the only one who swallows
I would treat you like a sun
Runnin' 'round you while it's fun
Too fast in an endless cycle

[Pre-Chorus]

Till the voices came to me
To me

[Chorus]

Hey now, rip your heart out
I just want to taste it and spit it right out
Talking to a goddess
I've got power from all of my pain
So be careful what you say
Cuz I can't make you pay
A lifetime full of pain
Every fucking day
Be careful what you say

FAQ & Knowledge Song “Be Careful What You Say”

  • ℚ. What have the artists said about the song?

I’m specifically excited for this song as I feel like I’m exposing a new side of my voice. The whole experience of writing and making this song was with my good buddy, Grabbitz. We started with our usual life catch-up and I just unleashed everything on him that had happened to me recently. It was one of the fastest songs I’ve ever written. I cried singing it and you can hear it in some moments throughout the track. “Be Careful What You Say” is a reminder to myself and anyone that connects with the song that people will forever try and talk down on or poorly about you, and instead of letting it get to you, use it as fuel to better yourself and push you closer to your higher self. I believe everything happens for a reason and the reasoning for some of this past pain was to write this song.
