Bietjie Bos, aptly named due to the location on Marakeli Farm in Limpopo is a wild weekend of SA’s best Afrikaans artists, camping and non-stop entertainment all weekend. The way a music festival should be!
Headliner Francois van Coke, who will be playing at Bietjie Bos for the first time, says: “A party in the bushveld is perfect for a lekker wild rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Hope to see you there!”
The legendary mystic boer, Valiant Swart says: “I am very excited to be playing at Bietjie Bos Festival again. I love the sunny Thabazimbi veld. I’ve always just had great times there! I will be bringing some tunes from my new album “Rondry, Fliek en die Buitelewe” as well as some old favourites.”
Musician Ross Harding will be performing with his band. He says that festivals give audiences a kind of magic and special energy that sets it apart from other live experiences. “As a band we absolutely love playing festivals, and we have heard and seen so much good from Bietjie Bos. We can’t wait!”
The line-up for the weekend is curated to bring only the best vibes for an unforgettable weekend:
Friday: Paul Angel Dj set, Soné Joubert, Jay, Droomsindroom, Loufi, Francois van Coke, Synth Peter.
