When I was making “DND” I was finishing up my album. This is the last song that I made for my album. And I know I needed something hard because I know from that legend, I made a name for making heartfelt music and real sentimental music. So, I just wanted to give them something that was real hard but a mixture of both. Wayne sent me that beat. He sent the beat actually to my AML and I was in a session just look for something, going through beat packs, recording on and I ended up vibing out with that one.

I named it DND because of the line that I put in there: “Make sure my phone on DND, I keep my door closed.” It was just really wanting me to give a reflection of how I don’t fuck with nobody. My phone always on do not disturb. I don’t really like picking up my phone or texting for too long.
