There is nothing a mother won’t do for her child, in most cases. When raising a small child, they run so many risks of getting into danger. Almost all of the risk is due to their small sizes. A small child can fit into so many places that a full grown adult simply cannot. This fact almost cost a little boy his life. If it wasn’t for his mother’s quick thinking, this boy’s life would be much different. The boy ran through a second story rail and went over the balcony. Thankfully, his mother saved him and likely his life.

Not only are small children much smaller than adults, their minds are not developed fully. So parents are stuck in a tough position. Obviously, they want to begin to give their children their independence. A lot of this means not holding their hands all of the time. However, in parking lots, and in crowded areas, it’s hard to not keep a child close. For one mother, she was getting off the elevator with her child, and she almost lost him in the worst way.

All kinds of danger lurks, whether up close or far away. This especially true where the small children are concerned. In current times, parents are mostly concerned with their children getting kidnapped. When out in public, this is a major cause for concern. However, one mother had a more immediate threat to deal with. She turned her head for a second, after getting off an elevator. As she turned her head, her child ran through a rail and over a balcony. The mother quickly grabbed him by his ankle, pulling him to safety.
